As a small charity, we organise a few major events every year - our flagship event is the Harefield Hospital Fun Run which takes place on the first Sunday of every September.
We also have guaranteed places in the Brighton Marathon (April) and the BUPA London 10,000 (late May). If you’re interested in running for us, please get in touch. In return for one of our places, we ask all our runners to raise a minimum amount of money for us.
Unfortunately we don’t have any guaranteed places in the London Marathon. If you’re committed to running a marathon for us, you might find it easier to apply for a place in the individual ballot, but please remember that this gets over-subscribed very early, and closes in April each year. If you've entered the ballot, applicants are normally notified as to whether or not they've been successful in the autumn. Alternatively you can look for places in other marathons around the country, or even overseas. It’s important to think creatively, rather than limit yourself to doing one particular event.
We're lucky to have a number of dedicated volunteer fundraisers who hold events to raise money for our charity. These are local events, and if you're in the right area then you can find information about how to join in on the calendar.
If you're holding a fundraising event for our charity that you'd like to appear in our events calendar, please email us.
