Help people live longer, healthier lives

We fund the clinicians, academics and researchers preventing, diagnosing and treating heart and lung conditions across London and beyond.

With our support, our partner hospitals are improving care and creating new hope for the future. Our funding is speeding up diagnoses, improving treatment and making time in hospital more comfortable.

In partnership with our hospitals and our incredible supporters, some of the things we’ve made possible include:

• A first-of-its-kind UK Cardio-Oncology Centre of Excellence
• Six new dialysis machines for critically ill transplant patients
• Faster, more comfortable scans with a new type of gamma camera – the first of it’s kind in London
• A new genetic sequencer providing faster results to improve diagnosis and treatment for more families
• Research into lung transplant survival and sudden cardiac death
• Funding for clinicians early in their careers to focus on research
• An award-winning arts programme that’s supporting patients’ wellbeing during long hospital stays
