This year’s London Bridges Walk brought blue skies, brilliant sunshine, and an incredible community spirit as over 100 supporters of Royal Brompton and Harefield hospitals came together to raise £9,914 for heart and lung patients.
Held on Sunday 7 July, walkers set off from the Morpeth Arms in Westminster and followed a scenic route across six of London’s most iconic bridges, taking in landmarks including the London Eye, St Paul’s Cathedral, the Houses of Parliament, and St Thomas’ Hospital, Royal Brompton and Harefield’s sister site.
With sunshine all day and clear views across the Thames, the atmosphere was buzzing as walkers made their way from Lambeth Bridge to the Millennium Bridge, united by their commitment to helping people with heart and lung disease.

We’re so grateful to the Morpeth Arms for once again giving our walkers a warm welcome, and to Ripe London for keeping everyone fuelled with fresh fruit. Thanks also to Jenny Sunshine Faces for her fantastic face painting, which added extra sparkle to the day.
A special shout-out to the many staff members from Royal Brompton and Harefield hospitals who brought music and joy to the route, and to our loyal supporter Eugene Miskelly, who returned once again to walk in support of our hospitals.
Thanks to everyone who took part, donated, or supported a walker. Your generosity will help bring hope to people with complex heart and lung conditions.
Here’s to another fantastic walk next year, see you there.
