Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals Charity (RBHC) are proud to launch the second year of our Research Fund for seed grants applications. We are looking for early-stage research projects to support across the Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust.

All member of staff within Guys’ and St Thomas’ Trust can apply

At RBHC, we believe in the power of research to drive innovation and improve outcomes. We encourage projects which will foster research capacity and enable larger external grant applications for research projects aimed at helping those living with heart and lung diseases.

Applying is simple

Application and Funding timeline:

1. Fund opens – on Monday 20th October 2025

2. Check details – you can find details on what we fund in the funding guidance. You can also review our FAQs

3. Apply – please complete the application form below

4. Deadline – the application window closes on Friday 19th December 2025

5. Awards – all awards will then be made in March 2026

6. Project start – projects will need to start in April 2026

7. Duration – all projects should be 12 months in duration
