As I write this, the weather is bright and sunny, but don’t be fooled – dark and gloomy evenings are on their way. Restrictions and caution are preventing get-togethers – but we have a solution to brighten up a November evening: Brompton's Bingo Bonanza.

I have never played bingo before – I’ve always wanted to, but I have never had the opportunity. Now’s my chance – and, by joining our Charity’s bingo event and buying some raffle tickets, I will be helping to fund vital pieces of equipment which will save lives at our two world-class hospitals.

Our bingo night is on Thursday, November 12th starting at 7 pm. Sign up and get your cards and join in the fun – we can’t bring you all together but we can bring you closer through fun and supporting our Charity.

There will be raffle prizes too. I have bought two bingo places so my husband and I will both play.  We are learning so much about how to live life in this new era.

But one thing’s for sure, it will brighten our evening and it will help our Charity and therefore our hospitals and we will be safe and snug in our own home.

Well done to my always fabulous fundraising team here at Charity HQ – full of ideas to keep fundraising, keep supporting and keep us in touch. You are all stars and I am so proud of you.

And not to forget our Bake Off – this is one I am missing not being here in reality. Our bake-offs at our hospitals are culinary highlights – especially for me as I am a lousy cook so I just buy lots and take it home. I remember the cakes from last time – absolutely stunning. I hope I can see some pictures of your creations to make my mouth water.
