Take to the skies and push your courage to the throttle strapped to the top of an authentic 1940s Boeing Stearman biplane!

We are offering our supporters the once in a lifetime challenge of taking on a wing walk in aid of our two hospitals on Saturday 9 July. You'll lift off from Damyns Hall Aerodrome in Essex, before reaching speeds of 135mph, at a height varying between 100 and 700 feet!

Minimum age of 18 years old. If you are over 65, you will be required to complete a medical form and GP approval.

How much does it cost to take part?

Deposit: £120*

Minimum sponsorship target: £800**                                                                   

*The deposit is non-refundable

** You must raise at least £300 by the date of your wing walk to take part in the day    

Anything else I need to know?

Skymax, our Wing Walk partners, are doing everything possible to keep you safe from Covid-19 on your flight. They have put enhanced health and hygiene measures in place based on the current Public Health England guidelines. We don’t anticipate changes in lockdown rules to affect the date of this event. If the flight needs to be cancelled because of the weather, we will work to find another date that suits you.

Please also note, that there is an upper weight limit of 13st 5lb. This is an absolute limit that cannot be exceed, all wing walkers will be weighed prior to their briefing
