Supporters, hospital staff and a few famous faces joined us for the Great Brompton Quiz in aid of our #MoreTimeMoreLives Appeal

Set in the beautiful St Columba’s Church, host Hugh Dennis kicked off the evening with plenty of laughter as twenty-three teams prepared for a night of quizzery, with the questions set by quiz guru Rich Warren.

Guests enjoyed a live music round written & performed by Jeremy Limb who played re-arrangements of some of tv’s most popular theme tunes, before being treated to a well-deserved sausage and mash supper provided by Eden Caterers.

As the evening drew to a close, Royal Brompton perfusionist, Rosie Smith joined us on stage to talk about why #MoreTimesMoreLives means access to life-saving treatment for more critically-ill patients.

To finish, Hugh Dennis awarded some very lucky guests with raffle prizes and opened bids for the Great Brompton Quiz auction, with prizes including a Manchester United football shirt signed by Anthony Martial and two Chelsea FC shirts, signed by the first-team.

The winners of the Quiz were Hamilton Akademickles. The winning team included Andy Hamilton, writer on Outnumbered and regular on Have I Got News for You. A big congratulations to you all!

We’re delighted to say the evening raised £7,554. Thank you to everyone who joined us and supported the evening. A special thank you to Ripe London, Paxton & Whitfield, Artisan Du Chocolat Chelsea, Venture Photography, Monica Vinader, Waitrose, Sainsbury's, Chelsea Football Club and Manchester United Football Club.

If you couldn't make it to the Great Brompton Quiz, we'd love to see you at one of our upcoming events. See what we have coming up.
