This week we kicked off the season of giving at our first Festive Fair. It was an opportunity for us to gather our crafty supporters together and get into the festive spirit with stalls, wreath making and a few Santa surprises along the way.

Shoppers warmed themselves with a free yuletide hot chocolate and mince pie, courtesy of our friends at the Co-op, before browsing a whole array of stocking fillers and gifts. Stalls included hand-dyed homewares and decorations from Pippa’s ‘Now What Napkins’, Greet and Smile’s hand etched wooden crafts and our friend, Andrew Mackenzie’s wooden snowmen and reindeer.

AJ Cakes and Bakes held a stall laden with delectable, sweet treats and Scentsational florists in Ickenham set up a fantastic wreath making stall. Our shoppers went home loaded with unique gifts for their friends and family on Christmas day.

We were also thrilled to welcome back some of our favourite volunteers. Volunteer Cliff James said: “It felt great to be back helping with fundraising for the first time in at least 22 months.”

The event raised a brilliant £688 which will be doubled as part of the Doubling December match funding campaign. Thanks to the stall holders, volunteers and shoppers who braved the rain to bring some Christmas cheer to Harefield.

Double your gift to the Charity this December and support Covid-19 patients on their road to recovery.
