This September the Harefield Fun Run and Family Day will return to Harefield Hospital after a two year absence. Everyone at the Charity is very excited to be holding the Fun Run again.

This will be the 39th year the Fun Run has taken place at Harefield. For the last two years, we were unable to hold the Fun Run due to the pandemic. This year the Fun Run is back and will be taking a new route. You can find out more details about the run and the route at the link below.

On Sunday 4 September you can run or walk a course that goes around the Harefield Hospital grounds and through the beautiful surrounding countryside, all whilst raising funds to improve the care given by Harefield Hospital. You can also enjoy some sun (fingers crossed for the weather) food and drink at the family day, with patients and other friends of the hospital.

Richard Bowyer, Chief Executive of Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals Charity, said:

Everyone at the Charity is extremely pleased that we are able to hold the Fun Run and Family Day again. It’s a wonderful opportunity for the local community, patients and friends of the hospitals to enjoy some fresh air, whilst making a difference for the thousands of people whose lives are saved or improved by Harefield Hospital each year.

At the family day you will be able to purchase food and drink. Stalls confirmed include Pappa Gees ice cream and the Harefield Candle company. There will also be live music, and entertainment from Stephen Jones the magic man.

All the funds raised from the Fun Run will go towards projects to keep Harefield Hospital at the leading edge of patient care.
