April has seen our amazing fundraisers take on the Brighton Marathon, the London Marathon and a brand new event, Warrior Adrenaline Races.

Some of you have also held or taken part in your own fundraising events - thank you for your ongoing support!

On Sunday 14 April, five runners headed to the Brighton seafront to take on the ever-popular Brighton Marathon including Sam Yell, pictured left. Despite the very cold winds, each and every one of our Purple Heart Army had a smile on their face until the finish and together, have so far raised over £8,300.

This year saw our Charity embark on a new event, Warrior Adrenaline Race (WAR) at Woodson Park in Hertfordshire. With zip lines, obstacles and lots of mud, WAR was a challenge to bring participants well and truly out of their comfort zone!

Taking part was Graham and Anthony Walsh from Eleanor Hospital Logistics Limited as well as our very own Fundraising Manager, Sallinder Rai, who is in the midst of two fundraising challenges - WAR and the fastest zip line in Europe, which takes place in May. The event raised over £500 for our Charity. Thank you Sallinder, Graham and Anthony.

Seven of our dedicated fundraisers took to the streets of London on Sunday 28 April for the inaugural London Marathon. As well as giving Mo Farah a run for his money, our amazing runners raised over £15,700, with more donations still coming in.

A huge round of applause for our marathon runners and mud warriors. In total, you've helped us to raise more than £24,500!
