Help our clinical staff navigate even the tiniest hearts

Thousands of children are born each year with life threatening heart conditions. In Royal Brompton’s cath labs, children as young as a day old can receive lifesaving minimally invasive heart procedures.

Right now, we’re raising money to buy new state-of-the-art imaging equipment for cath lab 2 at Royal Brompton hospital, which will allow our cardiac teams to bring even the tiniest hearts into even greater focus.


Luke’s story

Luke was born with Tetralogy of Fallot and had his first open heart surgery at less than 24 hours old. Even after this Luke was still very ill and looked unlikely to live to be a teenager.

Luke’s GP referred him to Royal Brompton and over the years he has had multiple minimally invasive procedures in our cath labs. Now he is a lively teenager with his whole life ahead of him. You can watch Luke’s story here:
