As many of our friends know, Johns journey with The Royal Brompton started in December 2016 & continues.
We can’t thank them enough for their continued expert care.
After complex vascular surgery in May 2017 by Professor Cheshire & his amazing team, 3 weeks in ITU, HDU & then onto a regular ward. Doctors, nurses, physio’s, receptionists & countless other amazing people were involved in Johns care, (as well as supporting me) & rehabilitation helping him to leave hospital 8 weeks later.
The Brompton not only care for people in & around London but all over the country as they always have & especially during the pandemic.
So on April 3rd, my little sis & I are proud to be running with The Purple 💜 Army in The London Landmarks Half Marathon, to raise much needed funds for this very special place, a place that continues to care for a very special person ❤️💜
