Harefield Family Fun Run 2025
Help heart and lung patients at Harefield Hospital
Whether you’re taking part to remember someone special, challenging yourself after a transplant or just for the joy of it, this relaxed, feel-good fun run is for everyone. And every step will fund life-saving care for heart and lung patients.
How it works
Everyone’s welcome, whatever your age or ability. Choose between a 4-mile cross-country course or a shorter, accessible route – ideal for families, beginners and anyone with limited mobility.
What does it cost
£20 for adults and £12 for children. Running in a group? It’s £80 for up to five people.
If you work for the NHS we’ll give you a discount on the entry fee – email us to find out more.
We also suggest a fundraising target of £50 per person – but anything you can raise will go a long way.
Everyone who takes part will get a t-shirt and a medal to remember the day.
Useful info
- Registration opens at 9am, and the run starts at 11am
- Children under 16 must be with an adult
- This is a fun run, not a race – so there isn’t any chip timing
- This year’s event doesn’t include the family day, just the run
Online entries close on Friday 29 August but late entry will be open from 9am on the day
Let’s come together to celebrate everything that makes Harefield so special – and help save more lives.

I had my heart transplant last year and was so excited when I could sign up for the fun run – it’s a rite of passage. My consultant me on the day and supported me around the course. It was the best feeling when I reached the finish line!
