This year I have committed to walking 200km in May, the distance of Italy’s Adriatic Coast to raise money for Ruben's Fund.

Last year I took part in the 100km in May Challenge where our team raised over £20,000 and we're hoping to do the same this year!

Since my last fundraiser, Charlotte has won the London Pride of Britain Award for her fundraising efforts, now at £176,000, and so close to her target. I want to help her move closer still.

Where will my money go?

Ruben’s Fund is raising money for the Royal Brompton & Harefield Hospital Charity in memory of Ruben Dyer-Jones (Charlotte Dyer's son), who sadly died due to Dilated cardiomyopathy at just 3 and a half months old.

The money will enable the team at The Royal Brompton & Harefield Hospital Charity to set up a dedicated research project, to understand more about the genes that cause cardiomyopathy. This will help to better treat and manage this condition for the 1 in 250 people affected.

Ruben’s Fund has already raised over £171,000 in just two years. Our aim is that by the end of May, we can help Charlotte reach the huge milestone of £200,000.
