Hello people. It's Penny and Lexi here to ask a favour.
Later this month it will be 10 years since one of our best mates, Lindsay died from CF (Cystic Fibrosis). It's a rubbish disease that there is still no cure for. Those living with it end up being in hospital loads.
Therefore, we're taking on a challenge with The Royal Brompton Hospital, where Penny works and where Lindsay was a patient, and their CF Appeal to raise money for a new digital platform, 'CF Future Care'. The platform will allow people with CF to have virtual consultations and monitor their health wherever they are, giving them greater freedom over their care and their lives.

The challenge is to walk the distance from Brighton to The Royal Brompton Hospital via The Harefield Hospital, a total of 93 miles.
The total distance will be monitored virtually via the 'My Virtual Mission' app which will be linked to our pedometers.

To make it more of a challenge, as you may not want to sponsor us for something we do all the time, we both normally always hit 10,000 steps a day (approx 5 miles), we're both going to aim to complete the full distance in a week!!
And as March 24th is the anniversary of Lindsay passing away, we're aiming to finish the challenge on that day.

If you would like to give to the cause or in memory of the wonderful Lindsay please click on the donate button above. Lindsay had only just turned 30 when she passed away and coped so well with this horrible disease, she was doing relatively well at the time so her passing came unexpectedly.

Please dig deep. The 'CF Future Care' platform wouldn't have saved Lindsay but it may have made life a little easier...
