I am hoping to raise money to support the fabulous work that your Hospital does to extend the life of those with life threatening illnesses. I have lost both a father in law Christopher Schaffer and old friend Gary Corlette-Junior over the last couple of years both of whom were under your care.....and I am just hoping that I can do my bit and raise some money to support the great work that your hospital does......So far this year I have completed the Ashbourne 10 mile trail....which is a very scenic run up and down the Tissington Trail in March. I have also completed the Longhorn Half Marathon....again a Trail run through the grounds of Thoresby Park.... quite a demanding off road run in April. This was followed up by completing the "Three Hills Challenge" which started with the Holymoorside 10k, then move onto the Chesterfield Spire 10 Mile run and culminated with Hardwick Hall 10k..... all of these being road events.... however extremely hilly as they are all within the Peak District... and for anyone who's been to that part of the world it's extremely Hilly to say the least, and slotted in between those runs was me partaking in the Birmingham to Black Country Half Marathon, which was a scenic run along the canal path from Wolverhampton Train Station to Brindley Place in Birmingham City Centre...... The last four races as you would be aware have been in the extremely hot temperatures we have had over May/June and July. I have also entered the Birmingham Half Marathon and Worksop Halloween Half Marathon in October. All of these events are self funded and at no time does the Charity pay for anything, so you can rest assured that any money donated goes straight to the charity. This charity is very much close to my heart as I have lost two great people of the last couple of years and am sure that each and everyone of you out there will know someone who has suffered from a Heart related illness. I appeal to everyone out there to help me help this charity help those who are in no position to help themselves. So please have a heart and donate as little as a pound to this fabulous charity.

Thankyou Peter McNally
