After developing endocarditis in January 2020 and undergoing a 14-hour major heart surgery by an amazing team of surgeons, I remained a patient at Harefield Hospital for three months. By the grace of God and the excellent care, support and dedication of all staff at the Hospital, I am fortunate to have fully recovered. My family and I cannot thank the doctors, nurses and staff at the hospital enough for the care they showed not only to me as a patient but to my family who visited regularly. By the time I left hospital in April 2020, the country was in lockdown and hospitals were dealing with the coronavirus pandemic. Yet, despite the challenges, they did not waver in their commitments to their patients; this was truly uplifting for my family and I to see.

The Lions Clubs of Kingsbury, Hendon, Kenton, Hatch End, Sudbury & Wembley, Pranasha, & Asian Foundation for Help, have joined hands with our Hathi Family to organise fundraising events for medical equipment at Harefield Hospital.
