I am running the Royal Parks Half Marathon on Sunday the 14th of October to raise money for the Royal Brompton Hospital's amazing work for cystic fibrosis patients.

Living with cystic fibrosis means losing the independence most people take for granted; frequent visits to hospital and check-ups dictate the day to day lives of hundreds of patients.

Royal Brompton hospital wants to put cystic fibrosis patients back in the driving seat of their own lives by enabling them to perform a number of health checks themselves, in their own homes.

Please help me raise money to help people with cystic fibrosis to be able to travel and work with the freedom and independence we take for granted everyday. Sophie Marriott
