16 July 2025

We are delighted to announce the appointment of three exceptional individuals to the Board of Trustees at the Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals Charity. Our charity exists to advance care for heart and lung patients, and we are committed to promoting the outstanding work of our organisation. These new trustees bring a wealth of experience and passion that will undoubtedly strengthen our mission.

Matthew Kennedy joins us with over 20 years of leadership experience across the tech and telecoms industries, having held significant roles at giffgaff, Virgin Media O2, Tesco Mobile, and IBM. Matthew’s connection to our cause is deeply personal, as he received life-saving surgery at Royal Brompton as a child. His dedication to our charity has already been evident through his valued support and leadership.

Charlie Carrington-Brown has over 30 years of experience in integrated marketing, spanning entertainment, telecoms, and finance. Currently serving as the SVP of Marketing & Communications at Mastercard UK & Ireland, Charlie is a champion of diversity, empowerment, and high-performing teams. Her strategic insight and energy will be invaluable to our mission.

Gira Davda combines a lifelong passion for healthcare with over 25 years of expertise in financial services. As a Chartered Accountant and executive leader at Brightwell Pensions, Gira has held senior roles at UBS and NatWest. Her commitment to our charity is driven by the outstanding care her mother received at Royal Brompton, and we are thrilled to have her on board.

Please join us in welcoming Matthew, Charlie, and Gira to Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals Charity. Together, we will continue to advance care for heart and lung patients and promote the vital work of our charity.
