Doubling December raises over £60,000

Our new RBHC Research Fund is supporting eleven pioneering projects to advance heart and lung care.

News Release

20 January 2025

We want to thank everyone who donated in December. Your support will help us transform the lives of patients living with heart and lung conditions.

Thank you so much to everyone who donated to Doubling December. Through your fantastic support we have raised over £30,000 which will now be doubled up to a phenomenal £60,000.

Hundreds of kind donors supported Doubling December with generous gifts. These donations will play a pivotal role in our mission to advance care for heart and lung patients. We support the needs of the hospitals, patients and staff where the NHS simply does not have the funds to do everything that’s needed. Every gift will have the maximum impact. We’d like to share with you highlights of what inspired supporters like you to donate to the Doubling December appeal.

“Thanks for all the great work you do and the lives you change for the better”
