My role as CEO is broad, ranging from developing the long-term strategic plans for the Charity to overseeing its day-to-day operational management. I have a particular focus on the development of long-standing donor relationships. I work closely with the hospitals’ senior staff to ensure that the Charity is supporting key development areas.

As Director of Finance & Operations, I ensure that RBHC’s resources are effectively managed, that the charity operates with strong governance, and that we have the right infrastructure to support our mission. My role also focuses on creating a positive and empowering workplace, enabling our teams to deliver impact with confidence.

I oversee our fundraising and marketing activity, leading on our strategy, planning and budgeting to make sure we can deliver the biggest impact for our partner hospitals.

Together, my team make sure our amazing supporters are engaged, informed and appreciated – whether they’re running a marathon, making a donation in gratitude for their care, or leaving a gift in their Will.

I’m motivated and inspired both by our donors, and by the difference they make for staff, researchers, patients and families.

My role as Director of Programmes and Funding is to ensure that the funding we spend is delivering on our strategy and advancing care for heart and lung patients.

My role is varied and challenging – every day brings surprises and is varied. The Charity owns and manages a number of commercial and residential properties within SW3, namely Fulham Road, King’s Road and Onslow Gardens, and I’m ultimately responsible for these addresses.

My objective in this role is to maximise property assets owned by the Charity, ensuring a strong endowment to support worthy projects funded by the Charity.

As finance officer, my main responsibility is managing the accounts payable function, and post and banking in conjunction with the fundraising and database teams.

My role involves leading the strategic and operational elements of the HR function and ensuring high standards of governance in the Charity. My favourite part of the job is working with and enabling all our staff and trustees to achieve our organisational objectives, through continuous learning, development, collaboration and innovation.

I lead the marketing team and oversee all the Charity’s marketing and communications, including brand positioning, marketing strategy, planning our communications, leading on media relations and managing the development and delivery of all marketing and communications activities.

I love my job as it enables me to work with many staff, supporters and patients and get involved in a wide variety of projects while experiencing first-hand the difference we make.

I lead the high value giving team for Royal Brompton & Harefield Hospitals Charity with a primary focus on helping companies, philanthropists, and trusts & foundations support projects that advance care for heart and lung patients.

I love my job because I get to meet some incredible people, hear about how the way medicine and care is continuing to evolve to transform people’s lives and support those that want to be able to give and make a difference.

I work on the charity’s marketing and communications, including our bi-annual magazine News Beat, external communications and the website. This involves spreading the word about our projects, appeals and fundraisers, as well as the life-saving work our hospitals do.

I develop and implement strategies to cultivate, solicit, and steward major donors, enhancing long-term support for the charity. Identify new prospects, build meaningful relationships, deliver exceptional donor experiences, and help deliver big impact projects.

My role involves applying to charitable trusts and foundations to secure grant funding for both Royal Brompton and Harefield hospitals. My favourite part of the job is seeing projects that are innovative and transformational for our patients and their families come to life.

I’m here to help you support our hospitals by taking part in any event you might find challenging, this could be anything from a full marathon such as the London Marathon, or a half marathon, like Royal Parks, a skydive, bungee jump or even trekking along the Thames or up Ben Nevis!

I’m also here to give fundraising advice and support to anyone who wants to do a challenge event they have organised. Whichever way you’d like to fundraise, I’m here to help.

I manage relationships with corporate partners that support our charity through fundraising and volunteering. We’re lucky to have backing from some amazing companies who are passionate about helping the charity to achieve its mission.

My job is hugely rewarding, getting to work with inspirational people from within the charity and across our partnerships. It makes me proud to be part of a cause that makes such a huge difference to the lives of patients and staff.

I manage the design, implementation and upkeep of the Charity’s database. Ensuring data integrity, security and optimal performance.

As the Stories and Content Officer, I lead on telling the stories of our amazing patients, staff, and supporters through our social media channels. From celebrating fundraisers to sharing powerful patient experiences, I help bring the work of our hospitals to life online.

With a background in social media marketing and a passion for authentic storytelling, I’m proud to help grow and engage our online community.

I joined the charity in 2019, and you’ll find me at Royal Brompton Hospital’s Charity Hub. My role is to assist our incredible supporters in their fundraising efforts, as well as organising some community events. I love my job as I get to meet lots of different people, hear their stories and help them.

I assist with income processing by managing donation data, addressing database inquiries, and ensuring accuracy. I enjoy working with the charity, as it allows me to contribute to its mission. I support the team by generating reports and ensuring smooth database operations to help further the organisation’s goals.

I first joined the Charity team in May 2015, working in an array of different departments before joining the fundraising team at Harefield. My role is to provide support for our incredible community fundraisers and with other Charity-organised events.

My role at the charity is to engage with our individual and regular donors, and make sure we acknowledge the difference that every gift makes to changing lives. I enjoy engaging with our amazing supporters through campaigns showing what our work means to everyone in the Royal Brompton & Harefield Hospital Community

I manage the fundraising inbox, phone calls and general administration for fundraising. I also support Challenge Events and events in general. My role is to provide a welcoming and professional first impression, to anyone contacting the charity for the first time.

My role is to manage and measure the impact of the grant funding we distribute to projects supporting the life changing work at Roya Brompton & Harefield hospitals. My favourite part of the job is seeing the transformative impact our projects have on the lives of patients and cutting-edge research in the fields of heart and lung care.

My role is to help maximise the impact of our funding. I help ensure that the projects we fund are well-managed and aligned with our overall goal of making a meaningful difference to the lives of heart and lung patients.

I love what I do because I get to work closely with the inspiring people we support and see positive and exciting changes their work brings about.

I support the team in delivering our ever-evolving portfolio of projects, helping ensure that funds are utilised as smoothly and effectively as possible.

This role has given me invaluable insight into the charity sector and has completely transformed my outlook on work.

I manage all the day-to-day management of the Charity’s property portfolio, this includes dealing with our agents for lettings.

Manager of rental income and expenditure for the property portfolio.

I deal directly with our tenants with any maintenance issues. I also look after deals with tenancy agreements and compliance for the Tenant Deposit Scheme.
