Changing the game for heart disease
We’re proud to be part of the Heart of West London Partnership – uniting sport, science and community to tackle heart disease.
Facing heart disease together
7.6 million people in the UK are living with heart conditions. That’s one of the reasons we’ve teamed up with Premier League football club Brentford FC and a coalition of charities and organisations passionate about heart health – including Cardiac Risk in the Young and Resuscitation Council UK.
We’re raising awareness, funding research, and helping people across West London live longer, healthier lives.
Every pound makes a difference
We have an ambitious target to raise £200,000 for life-saving research – and Brentford FC have generously agreed to match every pound. Together, we’re driving better treatment and helping more people live well with heart conditions.
The partnership will also:
- Raise awareness of heart disease
- Support faster diagnosis and treatment
- Promote life-saving CPR training and resources
- Share vital health information with local communities
The power of partnership is already making a real difference – helping people get diagnosed earlier and access better care, and preventing more deaths.
Because beating heart disease takes more than just medicine. It takes action, awareness and collaboration.

At Brentford, to achieve success we have always tried to focus on the things that make the most difference. We are applying that approach to cardiac health by bringing an alliance of organisations together in an initiative to bring about more scientific research, more cardiac screenings, encouraging more people to make positive changes in their lives and more CPR training. As a result we will have a massive impact on fighting the world’s leading cause of death.
