Volunteer - Merchandise Sales

Location:  Royal Brompton Hospital

Time Commitment:  Minimum 1 day a week for 3 months

Start Date: ASAP

 

Purpose of Job Role

Use your sales skills to help raise money for the Royal Brompton Hospital. We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help us sell our merchandise at the hospital.

 

Role Description

  • To arrive at hospital and set up the merchandise stand.
  • To sell charity merchandise.
  • To pack away merchandise carefully and return to charity fundraising team.
  • To be responsible for merchandise float and monies taken over the course of the day.
  • Responsible for card payment machine as per training.

 

Volunteer Specification

  • Would need to be a friendly, outgoing person who is happy to talk to prospective customers about the hospital and the charity.
  • Must be reliable.
  • Good general sales techniques required with no hard sell.
  • Ability to work as part of a small team.
