The final weeks that Simon spent at Harefield Hospital and where he passed away, were in the ITU rooms overlooking this area of the grounds. They have recently been landscaped to provide a lovely view for patients and staff. A new sun therapy treatment area has been created but the planting on the adjacent bank has yet to be completed. This is a combination of trees and shrubs, chosen for their early summer colour and fragrance. It would be a fitting tribute in memory of Simon to help raise the funds for the hospital to complete the planting and provide patients with a beautiful view to look out on from their beds.
