Our purpose

We're dedicated to supporting Royal Brompton and Harefield hospitals

Our Charity funds innovative treatment, equipment and research at Royal Brompton and Harefield hospitals, that fall outside of NHS funding.

Many of our projects are not just ‘nice to haves’ but are essential to the lives and wellbeing of patients and their loved ones. From the small but impactful, like camp beds for parents to stay beside their child at night, to bigger appeals such as our Transplant Appeal, funding pioneering technology to give more patients the chance of receiving a life-saving transplant.

With your vital support, we can make a huge difference to patients at our hospitals.

Our values

  • Integrity - We strive to achieve the highest standards through honest communication, transparency, being accountable and always acting in the best interests of the cause.
  • Dedication - We are compassionate and committed to going the extra mile to supporting our hospitals in tackling heart and lung disease.
  • Collaboration - We value the relationships inside and outside of our organisation and maximise our contribution through collaboration. We embrace the experience and knowledge of our diverse volunteers, supporters and colleagues.
  • Respect - We value people – all those we work with, who support us and who we, in turn, support with a professional and efficient service.
  • Impactful - We are purpose-driven, successfully delivering the best outcomes for the cause and making the supporter experience as engaging as possible.
