19 million in the UK are living with heart or lung problems. Coronary heart disease alone is the second biggest cause of death in England. One in five people will have a lung condition in their lifetimes. We work with those at the front line of heart and lung care. We champion ideas, research and innovation that prevent, diagnose and treat heart and lung conditions. We raise funds for projects that sit outside of the NHS that create better chances and new possibilities for every patient.

Enabling some of the UK's leading medical experts to carry out groundbreaking preventative and treatment research. Our latest project is by Dr Sabia Gati, carrying out crucial work to investigate sudden cardiac death for young people and athletes.

Patient Fund
