I will be running the London Marathon (26 miles) on Sunday 23rd April. I don’t have a charity place and I am not under any obligation to raise money. However, it is a great fundraising opportunity and I would like to try and raise money for Harefield hospital as I know of the amazing care and work they provide for their patients.

A few weeks ago my friend suffered a major heart attack. If it wasn’t for the quick arrival of the paramedics and the Harefield team being ready to perform surgery - she wouldn’t have survived.

I would like to raise money to help Harefield Hospitals provide world-class care to thousands of heart and lung patients each year, and to support the hospitals' pioneering work in heart and lung disease diagnosis, treatment and research.
