As many of you may be aware, my husband passed away earlier this year. He suffered from a very rare disease called Amyloidosis, which was diagnosed when the disease was at its most aggressive stage.

We are extremely grateful for the team of Dr Lyon and his team who looked after him whilst he was in the care of Royal Brompton Hospital. We cannot thank them enough!

My sister, my daughter and I would like to show our gratitude to all of the doctors and their teams at the Royal Brompton Hospital by participating in the 10km Fun Run on 9th September in Harefield! We hope to fundraise as much as we can to help the specialists diagnose rare diseases earlier to save lives.

Wish us luck!
