During the last Christmas 2017 my dad was taken in to hospital with what we thought was breathing difficulties. After one day we found out he had heart problems and was transferred to Harefield Hospital. This was where he was looked after over the course of 2 weeks and in the end was given a Pacemaker with a Defib.
Had it not been for the great work by all the NHS in Hillingdon & Harefield Hospital I would not like to think what may have happened.
My dad is now at home and recovering slowly (Which is annoying him as he does not like to siting around!!).

Running the London Marathon and raising money for Harefield Hospital is my way of trying to say thank you for all the help that was given to my dad.
