This year my team at work will be completing the 100km in May challenge. We are raising money in memory of Ruben, my friend (and colleague) Charlotte's little boy who was born just a few weeks after Charlie and who was sadly taken at just 3 months old.

During the challenge I will be running 100km and taking part in an additional 10 mile walk with Charlotte and some of our team mates.

Our aim is to help Charlotte and Patrick move towards their target of £200,000 and help other families avoid this devastating situation, so we have set up this challenge at work to support their goals. Any donation big or small is greatly appreciated.

Ruben's Fund is raising money to enable the team at Royal Brompton & Harefield Hospitals to set up a dedicated research project, which will provide valuable knowledge into genetic cardiomyopathy, which effects 1 in 100,000 babies, to better treat and manage this condition.
