Next challenge Charlotte has got me involved in...the 200km in May!

I have committed to walking the distance of Italy’s Adriatic Coast for a great cause! Just over 8,000 steps a day can help raise money for Ruben’s Fund - which is now only £24,000 away from it's target of £200,000.

Since my last fundraiser supporting Charlotte on of my closest friends, she has won the London Pride of Britain Award for her fundraising efforts, now at £176,000, and so close to her target. I want to help her move closer still...The past two years have brought a lot of pain and grief for my family too, and I walk for those we have lost, and cherished so much.

Where will your money go?

Ruben’s Fund is raising money for the Royal Brompton & Harefield Hospital Charity in memory of Ruben Dyer-Jones (Charlotte Dyer's son), who sadly died due to Dilated cardiomyopathy at just 3 and a half months old.

The money will enable the team at The Royal Brompton & Harefield Hospital Charity to set up a dedicated research project, to understand more about the genes that cause cardiomyopathy. This will help to better treat and manage this condition for the 1 in 250 people affected.

Ruben’s Fund has already raised over £176,000 in just two years. Our aim is that by the end of May, we can help Charlotte reach the huge milestone of £200,000. Vics Walsh
