As many of you know, my partner, Dave, had a heart transplant three years ago due to a congenital heart condition. He wouldn't be here today without the expert team at Harefield Hospital.

Proper diagnosis and treatment can prevent dangerous heart arrhythmias, cardiac arrests and sudden cardiac death, especially in youngsters.

Jack and I are participating in the Heart v Lungs Around the World challenge in September. I'm going to attempt to walk 10,000 steps a day for 30 days, while Jack is contributing his rowing miles and cross-training. We're kickstarting our campaign with a 4-mile fun run at Harefield Hospital this Sunday, 4th September.

The money will help provide the genetics and genomics team at Harefield Hospital with a state-of-the-art Next Generation Sequencer to help diagnose heart conditions in young people. You can find out more about this worthwhile cause here: https://www.rbhcharity.org/event/heart-vs-lungs-around-the-world.

If you'd like to support us in our endeavour, and help Harfield Hospital get the equipment they need, please donate now. Help us save young lives! Any amount is appreciated.

Thank you!
