On the 9th September, I will be cycling from Ruben’s Hotel, London to Portsmouth to raise money and awareness for Ruben’s Fund.

The ride is in memory of a little boy, Ruben, who passed away on the 12th January 2022 at three and a half months old, due to Cardiomyopathy, as a result of a rare genetic condition - GACI. Every parents worst nightmare!
Since losing Ruben, Charlotte and Patrick (Ruben's parents) have supported the Royal Brompton & Harefield Hospital charity with setting up Ruben’s Fund which will fund research into the genetic diagnosis of cardiomyopathy in children. They have pledged to raise £200,000.00 to support a dedicated research project, and so far, they have raised £130,000.00 towards the goal.

They have arranged many different fundraising initiatives since setting up the fund on 12 March 2022, however, now is the time for me to complete a challenge.

This year would have been Ruben’s 2nd Birthday. To honour his memory, I will be to cycling with Patrick and Mark, from Ruben’s Hotel to Portsmouth, a 75 mile route. Where Patrick will then ride onto San Sebastian, which connects his two boys, Ruben and Sebastian. I am taking part to support, and to raise awareness and money for Ruben's Fund. Please help me, by sharing, and donating, it would be hugely appreciated.

Thank you for taking your time to read, and for your continued support to Ruben’s Fund.
With your help, we can achieve amazing things!
