zubair mohammad Over 11 years ago my auntie was diagnosed with pulmonary hypertension (PH) a condition that that affects the arteries in the lungs and the right side of your heart. And was admitted to the Royal Brompton Hospital.

Over all these years she was treated by the phenomenal staff at The Royal Brompton Hospital.

in December 2017 she was admitted to The Harefield Hospital to receive life prolonging surgery.

But in January 2018 she lost her fight to PH and passed away. leaving behind a devastated and heartbroken family, mother and young daughter who’s lives will never be the same.

Although she didn’t make it, there isn’t a single day that we, as a family are not grateful, humbled and indebted to the outstanding care she received from the first day she was diagnosed all those years ago. This care allowing her to live her life to the fullest and enjoy every moment she was given.

And because of this amazing treatment and care she received, I’ve chosen to take part in Ride London 2019. To raise money, giving more people who need it, the chance to have the care my auntie received and the chance to live their lives and pray that more familieses don’t have to go though what we did. zubair mohammad
