This year a team of xx people will take part in the JLL Property triathlon on 28 June, which is a real estate industry event at Eton Dorney, Windsor.

The event allows for contestants to compete in a variety of events like a sprint triathlon, duathlon, 2.2km swim, and even a fancy-dress prize, there’s something for everyone! It’s a fun an inclusive way for all ages and abilities of our industry to come together to connect with colleagues and clients, make new friends and do something good along the way, by raising money for our chosen charity.

We will proudly be supporting Ruben's Fund, which was set up by a colleague who tragically lost her son in January 2022, due to dilated cardiomyopathy at three months old. Since then she has committed to supporting The Royal Brompton & Harefield Hospitals Charity to raise £200,000, which will allow the specialist research team at Royal Brompton to set up a focused and dedicated project to research genetic diagnosis of cardiomyopathy. This is a disease of the heart that affects around 1 in 250 people in the UK and is the leading cause for cardiac transplantation. Cardiomyopathy in children is much rarer, affecting about 1 in 100,000 infants, with dilated cardiomyopathy accounting for over half of those cases.

Since starting Ruben's Fund Charlotte has raised over £175,000 of her £200,000 target, winning her the London Pride of Britain Award last year. We are incredibly proud of the journey she has been on to help others and in her own words.... 'If we can help just one baby or child suffering the effects of Cardiomyopathy, by supporting the science to look into this, then this will be our privilege and honour, all in the name of our beautiful baby boy'.

Thank you for your support and if you can spare anything to help us, to help Charlotte get to her target, it will be much appreciated. Jonathan Parker
