Hands up who came to the Clive Anderson quiz last year - ok, I know I can't see you reading my blog but if you did come, then give yourself a big hug - and if you are coming again this year, give your self an even bigger hug.

It is definitely one of the best nights of the year. Mind you, if you haven't signed up you may be too late - but give it a try if you would like to come as there may just be one last place.

It is such a terrific evening full of feisty competition and scratching of heads. I have got a brilliant team this year -lots of my family, plus two of my favourite fundraisers and I am joined by one of my closest (and cleverest) colleagues, Nirmal. So we are ready to have a great time. It's this Wednesday at 7pm at St Columba's Church, Pont Street, Knightsbridge. Sign up here

And not to be outdone in terms of fun and fundraising - Harefield's Santa Dash is back - this is one of the most bizarre fundraising activities and sights to see as up to 100 people run around Ruislip Lido in Santa suits to mark the coming seasonal festivities - and all in a good cause - to support our appeal to buy as many new Organ Care Systems as possible - each piece of medical equipment is there to save a life with a transplanted heart or lung.  Come and join in, and get some sponsorship, take some wacky pictures and feel the Christmas spirit.

I hope to see you at one of our upcoming events. Or, if you're hosting your own Christmas fundraising event please get in touch. We'd love to hear about it.
