Forget the ‘January blues’, we’ve got some fantastic news about our festive fundraising that took place over the Christmas period.

Both Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals held Christmas Wrapping days over the course of several days, at Waterstones on King’s Road, Watford Intu and Uxbridge Intu.

Our Charity Team and volunteers were inundated by busy shoppers in need of a helping hand with their wrapping, whilst supporting our Cystic Fibrosis and Transplant Appeals.

Sallinder Rai, Community & Events Fundraising Manager said, “It was great to have so many of our supporters old and new come down and support us and of course, got everyone in the Christmas spirit! Uxbridge Intu was particularly busy for us so thank you to our volunteers who worked so tirelessly.”

Alex, one of our awesome Team London volunteers said, "Thank you for letting me be a part of this, I really enjoyed myself."

The funds raised by Harefield Hospital at Uxbridge Intu have been generously match-funded by Barclays as part of their Employee Scheme, with staff giving up their time to help with wrapping.

A big thank you to our wonderful volunteers who without, this wouldn’t have been possible. Special thanks to Sugi at Vinci Construction who organised nine Vinci volunteers to come and help with the wrapping at Watford Intu.
