This is Gill.

Gill has been volunteering at Harefield Hospital for the past three years. At first, she worked as part of the Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS), visiting patients on the wards. She then spent some time working on reception, before joining the Charity as a volunteer about a year ago.

Gill decided to volunteer at Harefield after her father was treated at the hospital several years ago. Gill and her family were hugely impressed by the level of care he received, so when she found some more time on her hands, she knew that she wanted to give something back to the hospital by volunteering.

Gill can now be found once a week selling Charity merchandise, such as hoodies, mugs and Harefield Hares in the hospital reception.

She is very proud of the fact that since joining the Charity she has sold more than £10,000 worth of stock and made a real difference to the hospital.
