Life In Focus Appeal Donate Fundraise Help our clinical staff navigate even the tiniest hearts Thousands of children are born each year with life threatening heart conditions. In Royal Brompton’s cath labs, children as young as a day old can receive lifesaving minimally invasive heart procedures. Right now, we’re raising money to buy new state-of-the-art imaging equipment for cath lab 2 at Royal Brompton hospital, which will allow our cardiac teams to bring even the tiniest hearts into even greater focus. Luke’s story Luke was born with Tetralogy of Fallot and had his first open heart surgery at less than 24 hours old. Even after this Luke was still very ill and looked unlikely to live to be a teenager. Luke’s GP referred him to Royal Brompton and over the years he has had multiple minimally invasive procedures in our cath labs. Now he is a lively teenager with his whole life ahead of him. You can watch Luke’s story here: Can you help? Your donations will go towards keeping Royal Brompton at the leading edge of patient care, so that our cardiac teams can save many more little lives like Luke’s. You can fundraise for this appeal by attending one of our events, organising your own fundraiser or making a donation. Your generosity is much appreciated. Will you be a part of this special ambition? Take part in an upcoming event or make a donation to help our staff bring even the tiniest of hearts into even greater focus. Thank you for your support - we look forward to keeping you up-to-date with the progress!
