This is Julia.

Julia is walking 100km along the South West coast, in memory of Kirstie Tancock, a former-student of hers, who sadly passed away back in December of last year.

"I'm raising money for the Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospital fund started by an ex-pupil of mine, Kirstie Tancock, who I taught at Honiton Community College. She sadly passed away aged 27 in December 2016, after suffering with Cystic Fibrosis and having received two lung transplants during her too-short life. She was a fighter from the time I first met her aged 14, and went on to raise both a huge amount of money for Harefield Hospital, and awareness for her Organ Donation campaign- Kirstie's Law. She was featured in a BBC3 documentary and The Russell Howard Show, and fought constantly to stay incredibly fit and active. She is my motivation for my walk."

Julia is well on her way to achieving her fundraising target of £1000, of which you can contribute to by visiting her Virgin Money Giving page here.
