This is Kerry.

After her best friend's father passed away, Kerry found a new mission – to raise as much money as possible for the hospital that cared for him.

"When Shaun's father Fred died, I became determined to do something, to do something big, something that took effort, that took time and organisation, that took me well out my comfort zone," she says.

Since then, Kerry has set herself numerous challenges, each one bigger than the one before.

"This year, I decided that I would go for a marathon. Then I decided a marathon was not a big enough challenge. After signing up for the Manchester Marathon, which takes place on 2 April 2017, I decided I would take on a whole six months of fundraising."

As well as the many physical challenges Kerry has remarkably set herself, she is also helping to organise a fantastic Freddie Mercury tribute night in October 2017.

Thank you to Kerry for her sheer determination to help patients at Harefield Hospital.
